Starling’s Weave to drop 10/21/24

In an abrupt turn of fate, the release date for Starling’s Weave has been moved up to October 21, 2024. That’s right – you heard me – less than three months away. Over the next few weeks I’ll be unveiling the cover and book blurb here first, because you people are the best!

This is a standalone “romantasy” title set in a watery world. The book represents a real departure from the True Born novels (and spinoff A Glamour of Blood), although I hope you find it’s got that signature unique magic system going on. I am really excited to share this one with readers!

I’ll have more info and exclusives for subscribers in the days ahead, so stay tuned!

And hey – are you a reviewer looking for an ARC of Starling’s Weave? Drop me a line in the comments and I’ll add you to the ARC team!

While I wait for the book to come together (still waiting on copy edits, and a cover, and all the good stuff) I have other news to share, as well (yay!!). The True Born Trilogy was recently removed from Kindle Unlimited (but still remains in the Kindle store, of course). To make a long story short, there was a short-term deal between my publisher and Amazon to host the Trilogy on Kindle Unlimited. That deal is, apparently, now at an end (although A Glamour of Blood is still on KU if you subscribe to that service).

BUT, I’ve just heard that Amazon has chosen True Born (Book 1) as its “Daily Deal.” For one day only, Friday, August 16, you can pick up True Born for 99 cents. Not free, but really, the next best thing.

Spread the word, good people! Please note that this is an Amazon-only sale. The book is also available everywhere else at its regular cover price.
