World Book Day Giveaway

Wednesday, April 23, 2025 happens to be World Book Day, and I think you and I can both agree that books are pretty darned important. I’m celebrating by offering one lucky newsletter subscriber a signed copy of Starling’s Weave (*U.S. and Canada only – sorry to those who live outside the delivery area!).

Here’s how to enter: Leave a comment below telling me what book you’re currently reading.

Not yet a newsletter subscriber? It’s easy to join – just click here. (PS. If you’re getting this as a blog post, you’ll still need to sign up to the newsletter).

To get you started, here are a few of the books I’m currently reading (yes, I multi-read):

You have until MAY 15, 2025 to leave your bookish comment. The lucky reader will be contacted via email (based on their subscription email) and I’ll announce in the May newsletter. Good luck!

I live to read and love to read. I read several books at once.
currently I’m reading Swimming with Spies by Chrystina Lucyk-Berger, Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros, Kills Well with Others by Deanna Raybourn and A National Crime by John S Milloy

  15. Hi L. E. Sterling! I’m reading All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr (historical fiction with a nonlinear timeline and multiple POVs—and poetry in motion) and Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner (a eulogy to a mother and ode to Korean food), and to fall asleep, The Fellowship of the Rings for the millionth time.

    P. S. I second anything by Robin Hobb. Character-driven high fantasy by a woman author 🌟
