Today marks a milestone: today, True Storm, third and final instalment in the True Born Trilogy, officially hits stores. Yeehaaawww!
So you might be wondering: how does it feel to end a trilogy? I feel like a mother whose last baby has just gone off to college, leaving me wondering what to do with my time and all that clean, empty house to play in. There’s a sense of accomplishment, sure, and also a sense of wonder: that even at the end of this chapter of my writing career, I’m still in love with the world I’ve built, the characters I’ve dreamt.
For those of you who read this last chapter, I truly hope you enjoy the last rollercoaster ride. I’d love to hear from you either way.
For those of you looking for a little writerly talk, this week I was hosted by Seattle’s Too Many Words podcast series this week, where me and host Jayme had a great discussion about wordbuilding, inspiration, characters and the importance of female points of view in fantasy and science fiction. If you want to check it out, the podcast is available here: https://player.fm/series/too-many-words/episode-74-le-sterling.
Happy reading, friends, and I’ll see you back here soon.
